🧵 What You Will Need
½ yard two-way stretch fabric (mesh or solid with good recovery)
Matching thread
Overlock/serger for construction + home sewing machine with zigzag/stretch stitch for finishing
🧵 Assembly (Shortened Instructions)
With right sides together, sew both side seams of the tube dress using a ¼” serger stitch.
Prepare the upper chest band by sewing the short ends together, then fold lengthwise to form a circle.
Insert the chest band into the top of the dress, align side seams, and serge around the top edge, gently stretching the band for a secure fit.
Hem the lower edge using a cover stitch or stretch stitch.
Optional: Topstitch the serged seam for a more finished finish.
