🧵 What You Will Need
1 yard Nylon Spandex (2 & 4-Way Stretch) 58″–60″ wide
Optional lining fabric
4 stretch straps or binding strips (1â…œ” x 24″ suggested)
Matching thread
Overlock/serger or home sewing machine with zigzag/stretch stitch
Scissors or rotary cutter
Optional â…›” or ¼” elastic for ruching
🧵 Assembly
Print and assemble the pattern using the included alignment block guide. Cut fabric pieces following the color-coded size lines. Optional ruching can be added at the bust and back using elastic. Sew front and back dress panels together with right sides facing using a ¼” serger seam allowance. Hem raw edges using a zigzag, stretch stitch, or cover stitch. Create the stretch straps by folding and sewing the strips lengthwise. Attach back tie straps securely using a straight stitch reinforced with backstitching. Fold raw strap ends inward before topstitching for a clean finish. Attach neck tie straps to the upper front corners of the dress and secure firmly.
