🧵 What You Will Need
1/2 yard of 2-way or 4-way stretch fabric, 58″–60″ wide
Matching thread
Serger/overlock machine recommended, or zigzag stitch on a home sewing machine
✂️ Assembly: Sew the short ends of the hip band together using a 1/4″ seam, then fold the band in half to create a double layer. Sew the two skirt pieces together at the side seams. With right sides together, attach the skirt opening to the hip band and sew completely around. For an optional more professional finish, topstitch the inner seam allowance with a zigzag or coverstitch. Secure the seam ends with stitching or Fray Check.
