What You Will Need

• 3/4 Yards 2 way or 4 way stretch fabric
• 2 Yards 1/8” or 1/4” braided elastic
• Matching Thread
• Zig-zag stitch/Straight stitch on a home sewing machine

Pattern Assembly

1. Sew together sleeve armpits (2) to the top armpit (1)  on both front and back with right sides together. A straight stitch on a home machine will work for this sewing pattern, use an overlock machine if you have one
2. With right sides together, sew the front and back sides (1) together all the way through to the armpit of sleeve (2) using a serger stitch or optional straight stitch.
3. Hem the remaining raw edges with 1/2” hem using a cover stitch or zigzag stitch
4. For the top edge of the garment, pin your elastic evenly to the bottom edge of the hem line to of step 3. The elastic will be on the inside of the garment (the two elastic ends will meet on a seam) elastic measurements available with sewing pattern
5. For the bottom edge of the garment repeat step 4. (the two elastic ends will meet on a seam) elastic measurements available with sewing pattern
6. For the bottom of both ruffle sleeves (2) repeat step 4. (the two elastic ends will meet at the underarm seam) elastic measurements available with sewing pattern
