🧵 What You Will Need
• 2/3 yard (0.6 m) 2-way stretch fabric or 1/2 yard (0.5 m) 4-way stretch fabric
• Matching thread
• Overlock/serger and home sewing machine with zigzag or stretch stitch
🧵 Assembly (Shortened Instructions)
All seam allowances are ¼” (6 mm) using a serger stitch unless otherwise noted. Hem allowance is ½” (13 mm). Sew shoulder seams with right sides together, making sure tie extensions are positioned correctly. Attach sleeves to the armholes. Sew from sleeve hem through underarm and down the side seam in one continuous seam on both sides. Turn raw edges under ½” (13 mm) and hem sleeves, neckline edges, and bottom edge using a cover stitch or stretch stitch. Tuck raw edges inside at tie tips before hemming for a clean finish.
