What You Will Need
- 3/4 Yards 2 way or 4 way stretch fabric
- 2 Yards 1/8” or 1/4” braided elastic
- Matching Thread
- Zig-zag stitch/Straight stitch on a home sewing machine
Pattern Assembly

- Optional step: gather the back booty with elastic pull ruching leaving 1/2″ at the top for the hem. Secure the end with a back stitch
- With right sides of fabric together sew the crotch and sides together of (1) and (2) with a stretch stitch or straight stitch
- Hem the top edge and leg holes of (1) and (2) with 1/2” hem using a cover stitch, zigzag stitch, or straight stitch.
- Upper elastic placement: The elastic will be pinned on the inside of upper hem of (1) and (2) the two elastic ends will meet on a seam. Elastic measurements available with sewing pattern

- Using a straight stitch secure the braided elastic in place. Secure where the two elastic ends meet on the seam.
- Leg hole elastic placement: The elastic will be pinned on the inside of both leg holes of (1) and (2) the two elastic ends will meet on a crotch seam. Elastic measurements available with sewing pattern ***this may need adjusted, elastics stretch differently***
- Using a straight stitch secure the braided elastic in place. Secure where the two elastic ends meet on the seam.
