½ yard Nylon Spandex (2 & 4-Way Stretch)
3½ yards 2mm cord elastic or stretch strings
2½ yards ¼” cotton braided swimwear elastic
Matching thread
Overlock/serger or home sewing machine with zigzag/stretch stitch
Elastic foot (recommended for best results)
🧵 Assembly (Shortened Instructions)
Sew elastic around all edges, leaving the ends long for later loop construction. Fold the elastic to the inside and hem using a zigzag stitch or coverstitch. Fold and stitch the elastic ends to create loops at the top corners, sides, and thong back.
