What You Will Need
- 1 yard of 2 or 4 way stretch fabric 58”- 60” wide
- Matching Thread
- Regular Home Sewing Machine / zig-zag stitch & straight stitch
- Optional Overlock Sewing Machine / Cover Stitch Sewing Machine
** Not using the S-HOOK? Shorten both straps by ¼” and sew straps together before step 2. **
Pattern Assembly
- Using a serger or straight stitch, sew the lower back seam of (1) with ¼” seam allowance
- Optional – Sew the two back neck straps of (1) together with ¼” seam allowance. Skip this step if you are using an S-Hook closure
- Hem all raw edges with ½” hem using a zigzag stitch, coverstitch or any stretch stitch you prefer
- Add ¾” S-Hook on the right-side neck strap. Insert neck strap fabric of (1) inside the S-Hook hole. Fold over fabric ¾” and secure the S-Hook in place with a straight stitch
- Sew an opening for the S-Hook closure. Fold the left-side neck strap over ¾” Secure in place with a straight stitch to creates an opening that secures the S-Hook on the left side
