🧵 What You Will Need
• ¾ yard 2-way or 4-way stretch fabric, 58–60″ wide
• ¼” braided elastic
• Two Stretch String pieces (included pattern pieces or premade stretch binding)
• Matching thread
• Serger or sewing machine with stretch stitch/zigzag
• Elastic foot (recommended but optional)
🧵 Assembly (Shortened Instructions)
Apply ¼” elastic around the outer edges of the main top while leaving the neckline open for the halter strap. Fold the elastic to the wrong side and topstitch with a zigzag or cover stitch. Sew the halter neck strap into a tube, turn right side out, and attach it to the top center of the keyhole opening. Prepare the back Stretch Strings and attach them to the side openings, enclosing the ends inside the upper hem for a clean finish. Finish by checking strap placement and optional front lining before wearing.
