🧵 What You Will Need
XS–L: ⅔ yard of Nylon Spandex (2 way stretch) or ⅓ yard of Nylon Spandex (4 way stretch)
XL–3X: ¾ yard of Nylon Spandex (2 way stretch) or ½ yard of Nylon Spandex (4 way stretch)
⅛” elastic (¼” elastic may also be used)
Matching thread
Overlock/serger or home sewing machine with zigzag or stretch stitch
🧵 Assembly (Shortened Instructions)
Optional elastic can be applied to the side seams to create a gathered look, or skipped for a smooth finish. Sew the front and back center seams with right sides together using a ¼” serger seam allowance. Align the seams and sew the front and back crotch seams together with right sides facing, using a ¼” seam allowance. Hem the top edge with a ½” hem using a stretch stitch, enclosing elastic if desired. Hem both leg openings with a coverstitch, zigzag, or stretch stitch using a ½” hem. Full illustrated instructions are included in the PDF.
