🧵 What You Will Need
½ yard of 2-way or 4-way stretch knit
¼” wide braided elastic
1 yard of prepared fabric straps
Matching thread
Regular home sewing machine
Elastic foot recommended for easier elastic application
🧵 Assembly (Shortened Instructions)
Attach ¼” elastic around the edges of the main body piece, reinforcing the front V by slightly folding the point while stitching. Fold the elastic to the inside and finish the edges with a zigzag or coverstitch. Prepare and attach the neck ties, enclosing the raw ends for a clean finish. Sew the waist side straps into tubes, turn them right side out, and attach them to the waist ends of the bodysuit. Fold the seam allowances and elastic to the inside and topstitch to finish.
